Wednesday, August 19th, 2009This small (note the leaf on top) turtle was taking advantage of the mid-August heat wave to bask on a log in the watering pond back by the old box barn. There are a number of turtles and frogs in this pond which you can observe until they notice you, at which point they’ll seek refuge in the water.
